Who we are

We are an independent coffee house bringing a taste of Scandinavian food and culture to Sheffield.

We pride ourselves on quality, serving locally roasted coffee from Frazer’s Coffee Roasters

All of our pastry’s and cakes are baked here at Smörgås.

What we do

Our trademark is the open-faced sandwich. Traditionally this is a slice of bread with a spread and topping. Bread is typically rye, spreads are usually butter, pate or cream cheese and toppings cold cuts of meat, fish or vegetables. At Smorgas we craft both the classic and our own interpretations of the open sandwich so you can expect an ever-changing range as well as the old favourites.
